Cuan Mhuire Newry was founded by Sr. Consilio on June 29th 1984. It was replaced by a purpose built centre on the Old Dublin Road in 2012. Since its foundation many thousands of persons from across the North of Ireland have availed of its treatment and rehabilitation services.
